24/10/2008-Le Baroque Night! :D

Okay this will be a very, very, very long post, I warned you already arh but it's worth reading (I think)! lol Pictures and videos shall be posted soon, I'll try get it from Dinah A.S.A.P!!! Anyway, we shall do this chronologically cos so many things happened and I'm so muddleheaded as it is from all the happiness!

We arrived at the club after getting lost tryna find CHIJMES and Le Baroque, so we were late la cos Shagies started performing already. GM Bob assisted us to our reserved table which was situated at the front of the stage, and Olynn waved when she saw us sitting down. Gosh she is like so skinny in person la and also extra gorgeousness man! Later after 3 songs(I think) suddenly Olynn said, "This song is for Karimah!" and Yani (co-lead) continued, "Oh she's here already..." Something like that. But point is, OMG! She sang a song for ME!!!! :DDD Sad that I don't know what's d song, too malu to ask Olynn either. lol. Awwww, gosh, I'm so touched la.

Anyhoos, after the first set ended Olynn came to our table to talk to us. She asked some questions, blah blah, but it's sad that most of the time when we talked we had to shout closely into each other's ear cos of the loud speakers. Quite romantic
though...*wags eyebrows* hehehe. So I passed her my gift la which was a customized handphone chain thingy, she took it and thanked me (even blew a kiss) then said something like, "feel free to get more drinks," "Later after the last set stay here so can take picture with the band," and "after every set I will come here talk to you, but now I go first." Oklah, all of those somewhere in the conversation.

Anyhoodles, I was like watching her rummage through her "locker" at the back cos I didn't really wanna bother with d other band. Then she looked at me when she got up and showed me her handphone with my gift hanging from it! Goshhhhhh, I gave like the widest grin ever la! Ahhh, she's so nice la right??!?!? :) Hmm, Yani appeared to say hi to us and he is seriously very funny la can. The other band members are also so nice!!! OMG... I love the Shagies!!!! :))

Okay, back to my story... During the second set, we finished our cokes already so we decided to get what Olynn suggested, the Shirley Temple. I paid the guy already but soon after, he came back with my money saying that Olynn is paying for our table. 0_o Alamak, this woman ah... I feel like I really don't deserve it la! After the second set she disappeared for a bit before coming to our table again. She did say in an email that she doesnt mingle with fans much, she usually makes it short and simple so I was really honoured that she stood there at our table for like almost the whole 45 mins of the other band's performance.

It was so hard to communicate cos we had to really scream into each other's ear! And hor, she's very touchy-feely kinda person. So what I do? I become touchy-feely oso la. HAHAHAHAHA... Furthermore, we really had to like bury our mouths into the other person's hair to shout directly into the ear, so of course got contact right? HAHAHAHAHAHA... Okay, I'm just too happy until I'm not thinking straight, sorry. Moving on, Olynn is just so easy to talk to! It's like I was nervous for no reason cos she made me feel so relaxed. :)

Okay, later before the third set started she reminded me not to leave until after we take pictures. lol. After the third set, she called us up on stage but the lighting was so bad that we went outside to take d pic. Very funny la all of them. When I upload d pics I explain to u larrr. And then right, Olynn told my sis and I to wait outside for her. We thought she wanna talk to us, or more so to me, but then when she came out with her bags and told us to follow her, she said, "ok, I wanna do one last thing that is send you guys home." OH WOW! Some more she lives at Jurong West la! But she say never mind, her bro live in Pasir Ris and she'll sleep over his house. Piang... I felt so bad la! It was like 3am sey, and she still wanna send us home?!? She's really the best!!!

Oh when she's driving I get really scared. Cos sometimes she will just lift both hands off the wheel and talk like nothing's wrg. 0_o lol. Lady drivers. Hehehes. We talked, talked, talked in her car and it's just so hard to believe that Olynn Saleh sent me home. Wow. My idol sent me home... Can't believe it. She's incredible, she really is. I mean, here I am like some stalker fan but she still does all this for me! Weeeeeeee... I'm so happy la. :DDDDDDDDDD Like I told Ruth, Olynn is now officially my Sexybeast! Hahahaha. Aiya, I think I'm in love man. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!!!!!!

Okay, this was just the general post about the night. Later I shall update more on their performance, other things unrelated to Olynn or other things related to Olynn that I forgot. Hehehe... Okay, I can't say enough of it but, Olynn is totally, righteously and undeniably the most awesome person I've ever met! I wanna go to Le Baroque again!!! LOL...X) And it's not like I've got money. :/ At least I got to buy a gift for Olynn...just a small token of appreciation I guess. I hope she likes it, and well I hope she won't think it's stalkerish or something, cos I bought it with good and pure intentions ok! hehe. It's d bitches that kept making it seem like I've got an ulterior (and perverted) motive behind d gift. GAGAGAGA... Busy Bee Me.

Today was such a rushed day, I'm so tired right now, and to think I still have to go to my aunt's place soon. :(

First on the agenda was to meet ex-schoolmates to go jalan raya, but then at 1.15 I went off to go to Dinah's little open house. Had lots of fun there, cos I wasn't really rushing for time then. I'll put up pictures once Dinah sends them to me. :) And you know what? Dinah's sister said I'm scary! OMG... 0_o Am I that scary looking?? LOL... But in one of the pictures we took, I agree totally that I look evil, like some witch! >.<" I think I really am turning into Pontinanak la. People oso say she look like witch ma! HAHAHAHAHAHA... Gosh, I've seen the future me (only minus the dresses and ah lianesss...muagagagaga).

Afterwards at around umm, 3? Went back to meet ex-schoolmates to join them to visit another house, but after that had to go off to go jalan raya with family! Then when I got home-my dad told me to get home by 4.30pm, even though I reached at like 5pm- no one was ready yet! Grrrrr... >:( I could have gone to at least 2 more houses or something with my friends la. Dang... so at last I only went to two houses with them. Sad sey...:( Oh well, my apologies guys for being so rushed today!

Okay, I think we should be going off soon. I'm craving Red Bull suddenly...haha. I need the energy man!

Cry Me A River.

Watched Nights In Rodanthe (pronounced RO-DANTH-EE) with Nadh and Audy just now, and it's good! I wouldn't say great, cos compared to the book of course it's just good. The best part of the movie I think would be Diane Lane. She's too cute la in the movie, she's like a little girl you know. Hahaha. Especially how excited she gets everytime she receives Robert's letters. LOL... But ehhh, kinda reminds me of someone. Hmmmmm...;) But well, the show made me cry quite a bit, and I think you guys should catch it, it's worth the expensive movie tickets! Although, I have to admit that I didn't quite like the ending so much. I was hoping for an ending like A Walk To Remember, but oh welll....:/

Ooooh, PCD has two videos out already, Whatcha Think About That and I Hate This Part. I think Nic and Jess were damn extra hot in I Hate This Part. Though I think that the directing for both videos were rather messy. :/ Oh well...

Know what? There was this girl who added me in friendster, and I don't even know how she found my profile since we're not connected in any way, and then we intro ourselves la. She said she was doing her Os, and she asked if I could help with her studies! LOL... So funny la. So I offered to help her with what I'm capable of which is either English or history, and she asked if I could help her with English. Of course I was glad to help la. She added me in MSN, but decided to call me instead. She's so cute la can. We spoke like we dah kawan lamer liddat! LOL. I gave her a few tips cos she's really stressed la. She kept saying, "I'm so gonna die, I'm so gonna die!" Haha. Poor thing... I hope my tips would help a little bit. :/ Well, I still think this whole thing is just damn funny. It's so random. lol...

Wow Weeeeee!

Went to Little India just now with Dinah and Fathiah. Don't know why Dinah made such a fuss about me actually going there; I'm not that much of a brat okay! LOL... I found this Cadbury Fudge Brownie there! OMG! Can't wait to sink my teeth into it...mmmmmm. I also bought a set of M.A.C eyeshadows! Woopdeedoodah! I'm going with a green smokey eye tomorrow, just hope it turns out well. Ohh, we also got hennas for ourselves...the woman who did it was like so pro can. So overall, we had lotsa fun today! :)

Pickler.

I'm like addicted to Kellie Pickler's voice now la! If her name sounds familiar, she was actually a contestant on American Idol but I'm not sure which season though. She's d country bimbo, the one that Simon liked a lot and the one he thought was so cute when she said, "calamari" on the video. LOL... Okay, that's how I remember her most; the "calamari".

Anyway, my blog song is I Wonder sung by her, and it's such a sad song really. It's about her mother who left her when she was only two. Pickler actually cried when she sang it live for the Country Music Awards 2007. Gosh, my heart broke. I can't take it when girls cry la, I just feel for them, unless of course I hate them la, then I would probably pop mental champagne in my head. I watched her interview on Ellen, and my sides hurt from laughing. She's like d cutest dumbest thing ever! There was one part when Ellen kept looking at the monitor behind Pickler and Pickler panicked cos she thought something behind was going to attack her...HAHAHAHA... She was like, "why do you keep looking behind me? You scared me, I thought something was going to come out and get me!!!" Even Ellen couldn't stop laughing.

Ooh speaking of Ellen, I know it's been some time already but I just read the article about her wedding in People Magazine and goshhhh, it's so sweet okay. Portia De Rossi is smoking hot...x) Point is, I'm rooting for them to stay together forever! So glad that California has allowed gay marriage, even though they still call it a contract and not a marriage, but never mind la, take a step at a time right? Ellen and Portia are so in love, and I'm so happy for them. God bless...:)

It's My Life...

Back to school! :) I was so happy to see my ladies again!!! :DDD Love you gals, seriously...;) Buttttttt, the inertia from the holidays is gonna take some time to get over. Gosh...one day and already I'm rather shagged. Ahh, oh well.

Anyway, got kinda miffed just now. You guys should know my general disposition isn't always very friendly right (be it my perpetually angry face or my low, monotonous voice), and I think overly friendly people are weird. I mean, it's fine to be friendly la, but um, can you imagine, I just got in d house close to collapsing only to find my house overflowing with people I don't know; and all I wanted to do was quietly sneak into my room but then someone I seriously don't know is so bright and cheerily saying, "hello!" Pulling a 'Karimah', I cocked my eyebrow and with my deep, almost growling voice I said, "Hi?" Then he said something else which I answered in d same manner, which is just me being myself right???

Thing is, I'm not angry with d boy la, he's like innocent, I'm just irritated with my dad. Suddenly all my ideals and principles are so wrong to him, and he keeps arguing telling me what's right and what's wrong; which part of me I should change and blah blah blah. Goshhh, d other day he gave me an earful just cos I said I want to have ONE child. X( Anyway, he said this line just now which just made my blood boil, "Karimah, you can't act like this. Stop this nonsense."

Cripesssssssss... I don't want to be rude cos he is my dad afterall, but I just need to let this out!!! He then came in d room to talk to me about my attitude. Geez, all this while I've been basically a nice daughter ok, I don't create trouble in school, I don't smoke, drink or take drugs. Sure I appear feelingless most of the time, but that's just how I've learnt to live for the past um, 3 years??? I only let important things in my life bother me, I only care about how I'm affecting the people I love; I've learnt to live by what someone once told me which is, "it's your life, you can choose to be happy or let such unworthy people/gossip affect you."

I guess I was rude, but it's not like I meant to be rude, it just comes out like that. And it doesn't matter if people I don't know or don't care about think badly of me, cos to me they are unworthy. I mean, even with this "temperament" of mine, I have made many loving friends, and I don't mean to toot my own horn but I don't really have that many people who hate me (I think...:X..lol). Ahh, poopyshit. Whatever it is, I'm not gonna change for anyone but myself, so that's that. :)

Hangover??

It's actually 6:20AM now, and I've been writhing in discomfort trying to get to sleep from umm, 12 midnight?!!!!! Tossed and turned the whole night (morning...whatever) but still I can't get to sleep and now I've got a horrible hangover (or at least what I perceive a hangover would feel like). Want to know why??? Well, I think it was espresso number FIVE that did it!!! Gosh... 0_o I do the stupidest things sometimes. Sighs, I guess the headache (I swear d room spun a little when I got up) is something I really deserve for being so silly. Urgh, five espressos at one go; not a good idea! Here's the evidence of my sin X) :
But don't blame this on me okay! I needed the caffeine to like "tranquilize" myself or something, cos I was close to punching someone, something; anything really... Why?!?! Why?!?!? I'll tell you why!!!!!! It's because of that dang leesuyinrosalind! Of all the people, that lalalalalala had to appear! Gah, I really didn't need that... I don't know whether I'm still angry or what, but seeing that Ros-ah-lian just made me feel like screaming and killing people. Ohhhh, poopyshit...>.<"

*Gosh, I swear I want to SLEEP!!! But, I doubt I'm gonna get any. Caffeine is still running wild in my veinssssss! Btw, I researched and d amount of caffeine you are allowed to take in is at the most 300mg a day. I had 5 cups of espresso which contain 107mg of caffeine each...Around 500mg in like what, 20 minutes???!!! OMG... No wonder I feel like I'm dying. Ugh, and to think we have people coming over for dinner later and I'm so zombified right now. I hate myself sometimes...*

Anyhoodles, SO SAD! Class outing has been cancelled. :(( It seems a lot of people are unable to make it. Oh well, at least we'll see each other again on monday! :D But, I don't know if I'm actually ready for school yet. 0_O I know it's been almost two months but...I'm like so dumbbbb, only this week then I started to make full use of my holidays! (this sentence sounds so grammatically wrong, but I don't know how else to put it. >.<) Arghhhh...LOL... Ok, whatever. I spent the whole day watching Video On Trial on Youtube, and OMG, it's fantastic! Even though they made fun of When I Grow Up, I found it funny. I think Debra, Sabrina and Trevor are the best, and Russell Peters actually came on as a guest star in Episode 303, and goshhhh, he is shitass hilarious...X) I think I'm gonna watch ALL the rest of the episodes tomorrow. ;)...
